NINETEEN: COME OUT OF BABYLON
Jesus admonishes His disciples, His sheep to, “come out of Babylon.” Babylon cannot be false religion, for Christians, Jesus' sheep are not a part of false religions for Jesus' true sheep do not listen nor follow false shepherds/false spirits. True disciples of Jesus Christ follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God. In the letters to the seven Churches in the book Revelation, chapters 2 and 3, Jesus admonishes his people in various apostate churches to repent of their sins and idolatry, He does not direct His disciples to come out of those churches. Abram was living within the offspring of Babylon, the city of Ur in the kingdom of the Chaldeans. God directed Abram to come out of the nations of world, out Babylon's descendants, out of Babylon and into a nation that God would build in Canaan from Abram's own seed. Likewise God God's his children to come out of Babylon, out of the descendants of Babylon which are the nations of the world united together as one government and one religion in rebellion to God. False religion dictated the goals and laws of Babel under Nimrod. False religion dictated the goals and laws of Egypt under Pharoah. False religion dictated the goals and laws of Babylon under Nebuchadnezzar. False religion dictated the goals and laws of Greece under Alexander. False religion dictated the goals and laws of Rome under Caesar. False religion dictated the goals and laws of every empire of every nation that has ever existed. False religion will dictate the goals and laws of the final Babylon empire when the Antichrist comes to power. Babylon existed in the first century, it exists today and will be existing when the Antichrist comes to power. God has been calling his people from the time of Abraham to the seven Churches in the first century to His people today and to His people when the Antichrist rises to power "to come out" of the false religion/nation/government/materialism that dominates every nation, Babylon. The leader of all false religions manipulates the kingdoms of men into persecuting the children of God. |
